Hiya, I’m Alexandra!
THANK YOU FOR DROPPING BYI’m a lover of angsty romance, swoony chaos, and fictional men who fall hard and fast for the women who undo them.
If you’re into stories with big feelings, morally grey heroes, complicated love, and just the right amount of spice…you’re in the right place.
I’ve been obsessed with books for as long as I can remember. Reading them, writing them, living in them. Now, I get to call it my job—and nothing makes me happier than sharing these wild, emotional journeys with readers who feel it all right alongside me.
Welcome to my little corner of romance. Come for the heartbreak, stay for the happily ever afters.
About Me
- The first book that I devoured as a child was The Journey to the River Sea by Eva Ibotson.
- My first foray into romance as a young adult was through Rachel Caine’s Morganville Vampires series, Hush Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick, Fallen series by Lauren Kate, and the Blue Bloods series by Melissa de la Cruz.
Yes, this was my Fantasy/PNR era.
- My spicy romance era started with the One Night series by Jodi Ellen Malpas—Miller Hart owns my heart! Sierra Simone is one of my go-to authors, especially her New Camelot trilogy. If you are into MMf, MfM, I highly recommend. Another trilogy I loved was Pam Godwin’s Tangled Lies. This is a must read for all my love triangle lovers! The Black Swan Affair by K.L. Kreig is another love triangle I couldn’t get enough of. If you prefer spicy and hilarious, Meghan Quinn is my run-to author, especially her Vancouver Agitators series.
If you’d like more book recs from me, I always include a couple in my newsletter.
About My Books
I’ve also learnt that my stories always swerve in unexpected directions, which means I don’t want to promise something I won’t deliver. As such I won’t confirm characters and their stories until the first draft is complete.
Depends on the series and what you are reading it for—just for the romance, or the subplot too. All my books can be read as romance standalones, unless stated.
Some of my characters make cameos in each other’s books, I try not to spoil anything, however, it’s not a guarantee.
Personally, I think reading them in order is the best experience. Saying that, if one book is calling to you more than another, they are technically standalones.
Contact Me
The most likely answer is that I didn’t see it. There are a couple of reasons for this;
- There’s more messages than I can keep up with.
- I’m on a deadline, and I am not online.
I promise I’m not ignoring you on purpose!
Absolutely! You can find all the ways you can reach out on my contact page.
I don’t live in the UK anymore, so it’s something I’m still working on here in Portugal. I’ve only just sort of figured out how customs works here!
